Zytiga is used in conjunction with Prednisone for prostate cancer therapy.
Take Zytiga 2 before or after a meal with a glass of water. Usual dose is one tablet a day. The pills should not be broken or smashed Do not make any changes regarding the dosage or your treatment scheme without your healthcare provider?s advice. In case of overdose seek for emergency medical help.
Your blood pressure will be regularly monitored, and you your blood will be frequently analyzed.
Before starting therapy with Jevtana, inform your Doctor advisor if you are allergic to any drug, show your medical history, tell about all over-the-counters, herbs and vitamins you take.
This drug is allowed for use by adults only (over 18 y.o.).
Zytiga can get into body fluids so people who contact with them should use rubber gloves. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after removing the gloves. Wash contaminated cloths and linens apart from the rest. A pregnant woman should not get in contact with body fluids.
Both male and female should not conceive a child/get pregnant during the whole period of treatment with Zytiga. Use contraceptives while taking the medicine and for not less than 7 days after you finish the therapy. Zytiga should not be taken by a breastfeeding woman.
Ask for emergency medical help if you are allergic to Zytiga and have any of the symptoms listed below: hives, trouble breathing, and swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Inform your Doctor if you experience any of the these side effects: swelling/pain in your legs; pain/burning during urination; hypertension; hyperglycaemia (unusual thirst, repeated urination, hunger, dryness in your mouth, fruity breath odor, sleepiness, skin dryness, problems with eyesight, loss of weight; liver problems (nausea, pain in the upper stomach, itching, tiredness, appetite loss, dark-colored urine, clay-colored stools, yellowish skin/eyes); lowered potassium (confusion, irregular heartbeat, increased thirst, repeated urination, leg discomfort, muscle weakness or limping; lowered adrenal gland hormones (deteriorated tiredness/muscle weakness, giddiness, nausea, vomiting, appetite loss, diarrhea, and loss of weight.
